Booze hounds Bluegrass
Booze Hounds Bluegrass formed as a band in 2017, with a vision of “bringing mountain music to the flat lands”. Our sound is rooted in Bluegrass and original music. We also play covers of ‘grass’ified Americana, Country, Folk, and Blues Classics that folks call ‘New Grass’. BHB has played over 400 shows and countless campfire and open bluegrass jams. We jam with just about anybody.
“I’d love to haul this five-piece string band to your venue, event, block party, bar, speak-easy or peepaws ‘unorthodox’ hog roast.” - Eric “The Hammer Hands” Lee

Booze Hounds Bluegrass roll in with a sound straight outta the backwoods, equal parts honky-tonk, bluegrass, and late-night roadhouse grit. They blend fast-pickin’ fiddle runs, dusty harmonies, and foot-thumping rhythm that feels like a party on the porch and a brawl in the barn all at once. The hounds hail from central Indiana and arrive as a 5-piece bluegrass band. They play traditional tunes, originals tunes, and joyful covers.
